Loot after rez/fight.Always look out for 3rd party and think ahead. 'Bad or good position\situation' should pop up in all team members mind (or chat) at all times.Think about the strengths of legends. Do you have a Caustic on team? Frequently one must make a choice of doing the smart thing and ending up alone, or backing up your team mates doing the less smart thing. I play pubs and play to improve and win fights, not just focused on the win, so once the game is underway, I'll usually go help my team mates do the dumber thing, as long as I already have a kill or two to make the game not a total loss.. If their decisions right off the bat are going to lead to my death before even getting a chance to play, I'll usually just leave the match before that has a chance to happen.

@RaisinFlakes Know your role. Teammate getting picked up behind you? Provide cover fire. This means aggressively taking shots at anyone pushing your team but prioritize surviving over damage. Use cover cover and fight evasively but put enough shots down to make your opponent think twice about pushing.

@reconzero I always badly want to believe it is a team based game....and although with the odd few, it can be.... it usually isn't.Too many warriors out there not interested in being a team, the ones gunning for straight damage and kills, run forward and never look back - "what teammates?"I personally play the same style as you...positioning over everything else. Like you, I have won games alone just on the direction I chose to move, and strategy I chose along the way. Knowing when to pull out (gigiddy) and knowing when to push.Unfortunately know matter how many times you try and explain this to your random teammates....sometimes they just have to learn the hard way. @reconzero well, it seems like you play a decent amount of solo q matches. If you want to work on your personal skills and be ready for whatever happens, then you have to get into the fire. Running away and repositioning, or landing somewhere else, instead of trying to work together or help your teammates, will leave you by yourself majority of the time. You just die and you can start a new game." Do you not understand why I said this? People do care about RP in ranked, otherwise, what's the point of playing? It's one of things people tie to progression, which is what we strive to do while playing games.

I would definitely run and hide. Well, try to get somewhere high where I could at least weight the engagement in my favor. My teammate getting hit behind me should have known to stick closer, should have been aware of a squad moving up on him, should have, should have, should have. I'm not saying he's a bad person for getting himself in trouble, but he is an unaware teammate, which is the kind I won't often risk my neck to save. Because I'll just end up having to do it again and again and again. Until he finally gets me killed along with himself. Sorry, no Band of Brothers in this game. Don't slow me down and don't risk my win because you want to pad your kill count.

@reconzero Well, if your other teammate is picking up the other teammate, you should cover them. Otherwise, you might not have any teammates. Also, sometimes you can't control getting knocked.

Sounds like you're talking about particular situations but we're talking about in general. It's a team based game and to succeed, you have to cover each other. Especially, if one of them is down and the other is reviving them.

@reconzero I'm pretty sure we all get similar types of teammates. Also, it is a team game. If it wasn't, you could drop anywhere you like on the map without teammates.

@NickBeam27 even if others don't do it, I want to set an example. I will help them out if they get knocked, try to revive them or try to recover their banner. It's honestly boring if I'm the only one alive and I usually just leave if that's the case. I love team games and team dynamics, and at the core of this game, it is a team game.
