Official statement on map sizes

So guys, i know like 99,9% of players who played worlds edge map so far already felt, that the new map is larger than the old one. Could we get some official statements regarding the sizes pls ? May...

@Biochemikas thats fine though, we aint got the capacity for even a sanhok sized map lol, let alone something like miramar.

Well, I'd say that World's edge would still feel bigger than Sanhok, since it's much more compartmentalized (it's like 4 separate maps with a lot of additional tiny enclosed areas) and it's generally harder to find players. It's like Vikendi vs Erangel in PubG - Vikendi feels MUCH larger, even though it's almost 2 times smaller in area.

However, most of the height on World's edge is just an illusion - none of the mountains (1 exception) or tall skyscrapers are actually playable, most of them have only 2 playable stories. But the huge buildings still maintain the illusion that there's a lot of hidden area to play in. I'm sure it will "shrink" in size the more we learn which areas are playable and which are not.
