Just watch the ALGS Playoffs these days: basically everyone uses it lmao, high damage, low ammo needed, high reward. Yes you'll tell me that it needs skill to use so in my opinion they should nerf just the long range damage so it's useful only with closer enemies. It's a bit disturbing to see 30 Wingmans in one game😮.
@Cheese9Man Isn't there a way to nerf the long range damage and keep the same for close range? If not then just a slight decrease for damage, maybe by 2-4.🤔
@Cro_PitttI've been saying this for a bit now. It isn't even algs teams. Everyone seems to be using it. It's not the 45 body shots that make the difference for me, it's the 80 something headshots with large mag size. The other day I ran one, got in trouble close range facing a person with a car pulled my wingman and double headshot the person to win a fight I shouldn't have won.
And yeah the range is an issue too. No need for a sniper or AR with that thing.
As I like to say,
all the other weapons need a buff
@matzesingtIt isn't a high skill gun now and here is why: Top level players that care about max rank and ALGS use the meta guns which are the easiest to use relative to damage. All of them using wingman means this is the gun they find easiest to use to inflict bigger damage. ALGS players using it over the r301 speaks to this.
As kel said maybe the issue really is that all other guns have been lowered to less useful.
35 dmg per shot, slightly slower rate of fire.
