@Cro_PitttOr it's part of the plan to keep the hype up. I'd guess most watching already play the game. They already have their attention right now. They keep the attention tomorrow by dropping a new trailer and then do it again later in the week with another trailer or news/notes. By doing it separately you get a very specific clip that catches people randomly scrolling youtube instead of burying inside a 6 hour stream.
Good marketing keeps people talking about the product by stretching things out.
@hayhor No i disagree on this specific case: there was a lot of people watching Apex for the first time because it was the Playoffs finals and they were curious on why that specific game had so many spectators (i'm talking about casual players too). Releasing a teaser or a trailer right after they crowned the winner team would for sure attract them and make them maybe install the game today. Tomorrow some people could even forget about it, it's Monday so people are at school/work etc. It was the perfect chance. Now i'm not saying the trailer will be a letdown in terms of views, but surely it was not the best choice for it.
