@Peri_Longbow_plz Sort of, the flares can cover areas that are inside of the ring that normally would not be storm territory. Just saying they can be useful in some situations. I don't know if I want them as a part of the game at least not as big as they are now.

But if there was some benefit to entering them I could potentially see them being interesting.

I am happy that flares and mobile respawn beacons no longer take a backpack slot.  Most people won't pick up either otherwise.
