Continued high tier loot from the new POI? That is going to be interesting.
The number of QOL updates does make me wonder if the map will be better now for the competitive scene. It has more POIs now and the most difficult chokes seem better.
Did they also update the waterfall so it does not cut my FPS in half when I look at it ? 🤐
@DYSPROssium They said that for competitive they will use two maps: one is WE, the other is still unknown, although some think it will be Stormpoint.
Having finally finished the dl, I jumped straight into ranked to have a wander around Olympus and I have to say I love it. Still taking it all in, but i am enjoying all the extra cover and more avenues for travel. Its another beautiful map and I really like the detail of the sky traffic moving below (above the visible city) . I nearly fell off the map looking at the details of the city below. 😃 it's going to be a good season.
@EA_DavidPS4 - do perfomance changes also count? I actually cannot play the game in certain map areas properly. The lowest fps I got were 16. Without anything happening on screen. Just walking around and looting. Apex is peformong quite bad on ps4 for a while now and Olympus has always been the worst, but the new update just kills my console
