On topic of hackers and how to fix
The only way to effectively prevent hacking in a f2p game honestly is to ban hardware. Banning just accounts does literally nothing because it's FREE and has NO rank system therefor hackers lose absolutely nothing besides a whole 3-5 minutes to just make a new account with the possibility of getting luckier on their newer accounts in terms of skins. Which let's be honest if you like to hack and your only downside is you'll have to waste 5 minutes creating a new account who will it really stop? If you've ever played any f2p games before you know hackers/botters run the show even on pay2play games honestly. It's just less on those because of the cost and some people aren't willing to dish out that cash after they get caught the first and maybe second time. However when you only lose literally nothing, then what's to stop them from just creating a new account. They obviously won't be buying skins anyway because they know they run the risk of losing the account. I figured I had to make this thread because of the influx of hacker/cheater posts and always answering people as to why it really makes no difference how much they upgrade their security or how many people they ban. Sure they banned 16k+ people but those 16k+ just made new accounts and are right back in the game anyway by the next queue. The only way which no company ever does this because then it can't inflate numbers is to ban hardware, which doesn't completely stop them but requires them to at least buy new parts on their rig to access the game which will put a huge dent into them. But again no company has nor will ever do that simply because they can't inflate numbers that way and no security system will ever be good enough to stop people from creating/using hacks regardless. This is the problem with free games, it's been a problem even in pubg and that's paid.
The game itself is tons of fun, however if you get frustrated from losing easily then chances are your going to have a rough time. Not every match will have a hacker but there will be tons that do, the best thing to do is not take this seriously unless you stream or plan on becoming an Esports player of Apex if it grows to that level which I'm sure it will at some point. I still play but I go into it knowing that whether this match or the next one someones going to wall and see me or aim lock me and I'll lose regardless, as long as you just try to have fun it won't bug you as much. Just know it's free, so theres nothing to stop them from starting over and losing ANY progress besides a stat chart.
