Pathfinder
I know there's talk about possible changes in the future but i mean his current state. Played him last night and thought he was ok but i'll try him out again a bit later. Think he's in a good place ...

I have played a lot of Pathfinder. I currently have 41,000 kills with him.
I think he is in an OK spot. He is the worst movement legend and he is the worst recon legend. He needs an actual passive. That would help.

Pathfinder was an excellent Legend with the low grapple cooldown because you could just swing ahead and check for threats, and quickly swing back to be back at your group. I used this tactic a lot to just jungle from location to location to check for enemies without putting myself into too big of a danger. Now I use the grapple sparingly because the moment I need it, at least then I have it. By now I'm contemplating between using Octane for that kind of mobility, or if I should stick to Horizon for mobility.
My personal change ideas:
- Grapple should allow Pathfinder to stick to walls for a certain amount of time. Maybe like 10 seconds or something. Pathspider style.
- Riding on Ziplines or being mid-air should still allow Pathfinder to be accurate with weapons.
- @iGRAPPLE83 There are a number of things they can do for a passive.
Scanning the next two rings would probably be OP.
Having Path go faster on zips is fair. Having him be able to heal on ziplines is fair.
Having a spyglass would be in line with being a recon character, but its a passive that becomes useless once you find a scope.
Idk, respawn needs to figure out what they want their characters to be. They spend 2 years nerfing Wraith and Pathfinder only to release a legend (Horizon) with the same attributes they were trying to reduce.
If they want to make Pathfinder a recon character, then they need to give him a recon ability that is at least semi-comparable to the effective recon ability of Bloodhound and Crypto.- @Axs5626Sxa5001 Horizon is still more op than path ever was..but I guess thats fine..the streamers are using her
- @iGRAPPLE83 there are plans to nerf her, specifically her insane strafe speed at the top of lift plus adding more sound when she is in air.
