That's because there are barely any console players that disable cross-play.
If players don't enable this option, does this mean that they like cross-play?
If so, should these platforms be forcibly split apart?
I mean, if users like cross-play so much, you'd make quite the portion of players mad by forcing them like that.
- 3 years ago@XHelperZ I didn't see your reply. Anyway, what I mean is, I could disable it and then sit in the lobby for 30 minutes or more with me being the only one in the que. Highest I have ever seen was maybe 3 players in the que and that's it. I was never able to start a game with it off.
But when I enabled it back up, I was able to find games again. Instantly at best, or I had to wait 30 seconds at worst.
Honestly, with all the players out there, I find it highly unlikely that only 3 people disabled crossplay.- XHelperZ3 years agoHero+
Either the feature is hidden far too much.
Though I personally think it's more logical that there aren't enough players using it so there are good queue times on all datacenters.
You might see a lot of users in console only lobbies on NY servers, whilst other servers might carry a few users, creating a big gap in queue times.
Rank disparity becomes even greater with less players too, so filling lobbies will become even harder if there aren't that many players.
- 3 years ago@XHelperZ yeah to be fair, this option is not present in-game. You have to disable it via the main Xbox settings. Thing is, you'd assume that there would be more than 3 people interested in doing so, right? But apparently no.
I play on Frankfurt servers, they are the closest to me.
