Why does EA only allow streamers to play test things? Why are those who put in hours upon hours games after games never invited? I get applications to apply for it all the time but never picked. But ...

The bottom line is:
Something needs to shift in their play testing methods. There are too many issues that could have been avoided had adequate play testing happened (the ring flare audio, the no fill bug, etc.)
I get it. Coding is hard. It’s a pandemic. Respawn is under-staffed. But it’s clear that certain things got pushed through without any testing (as evidenced by said issue appear almost EVERY match).
