@reasonablyupset yeah I saw that thread that you're referring to and honestly that just sad. But then again I can understand why they immediately unbanned her. She's a streamer and when you stream you'll most likely get your viewers wanting to play Apex too and that would mean more money for EA!
- 5 years ago@Daze623 That's the problem. OP is saying we're second class citizens. We don't make them "money" even if we, like, pay them? To play their game? People here have bought heirlooms and gotten banned.
Tell me, what's more likely? Every American/European account that bought event skins/heirlooms (god forbid jfc) took an hour long flight to China to boot up Apex in a Chinese internet cafe, hack for an hour or 2, and now gets to lose those hundreds? but lol we don't get the time of day.
This thread is sad and the mods aren't even responding to it because it's just bad optics.- 5 years ago
The question is: should streamers and content creators be placed in a different, priority queue? They arguably spend more than the average player, but many also have more influence over the playerbase and get income and sponsorships from doing game related content.. A long time interdiction affects them much harder than it does regular players. The same can be said about pros, they can lose valuable income and sponsorships, miss tournaments, training, ultimately affecting their whole team.
- 5 years ago@DoYaSeeMe no, they shouldn't. this process shouldn't take forever.
but they will be, and my opinion doesn't matter to the shareholder suit squeezing respawn and EA anyway.
