Yes, the map allows for a lot of 3rding. But it is a BR and part of being good at a BR is knowing when you can take fights.

And yet the split throws all ppl into one game ( Silver to Masters ) and the fact this game has the worst matchmaking in history of online gaming, its even more fun. Screw this , ill try MW2

@hayhor Respawn has said it is a valid strategy. IMO, it is just a part of BR and you can't get rid of it. You just have to live with it and try to be the 3rd party, not the victim.Personally, I've already used the zip rails to run from 3rd parties and reset pretty effectively so far. I also like how they are quieter than Tridents and Gravity Cannons.

I don’t mind 3rd parties but I wish they can do something about hotdropping in pubs. This isn’t a problem in ranked though. It’s either we have multiple drop ships in pubs or just accept that hotdropping is just the way pub matches are. The act of hotdropping itself isn’t my problem but the way that the whole lobby dies in round 1 is annoying.

@Cheese9Man Hot dropping is people, not the game. I've had my JM drop hot into Terraformer and land right next to 2 other squads multiple times already and that POI is huge. Hot Drop Harry can't help themselves!

@Cheese9Man what about 3 drops ships with 1 squaddie on each ship. That would really mix it up.

Please 3rd party complainers, do not ruin this map for me!

OK I won't ruin it for you, but my experience with third parties today was pretty nuts. Need more time to process having an opinion. First impression is that I don't like it very much game-play wise. And man were the lobbies sweaty! S11, my bud and I had a great time the first two days exploring all of the POI's on Storm Point, Valk ulting up the elevator shaft in Command Center, clearing the prowler nests in Jurassic Park. winning games. This season, the opposite. My solo q games were a bit better, but you don't get to have nearly as much fun with randoms compared to playing with a good friend.

@hayhor Its paradox. Respawn is trying hard to cut on 4rd partying, but it gets worse and worse. I have my theory why is that, and Ill probably write 10 page analysis on reddit when I get time....

@HappyHourSumwur I had a mad chase on the zip rails earlier where I was the prey and a full team was chasing. It was fun.

@HappyHourSumwurYou can reduce hotdropping if you have two drop ships. Forcing to at least have two hotdrop POIs rather than your one and only Fragment.
Respawn can change things to minimize 3rd partying and they can change hotdropping as well.
