Please add EAC support for Linux (Wine/Proton)

I guess now that Epic has added support for Wine/Proton to EAC, it would be worthwhile pestering you guys for Steam Deck (and consequently, Linux) support.

@Tjafss As far as I know this is not something that is supported nor will it be in some time. They may eventually do so in the future but as of right now there have been no talks of it becoming a thing that I have heard.

So now with the steam deck being released, Easy anti cheat, and Battle eye will have optional support for Linux, will apex support it?
Bc the only reason i haven't completely switched is bc i like to play games like Apex, and i like it quite a lot.
And apex runs on Steam with proton, just not Easy anti cheat.
Would love to see it.

@The-Ecchi-gamiif you already play the game then what's the point for the developers to do anything?

I have never played it because I don't maintain a Windows install. With Apex working on Proton I'll start playing and buying hats in Apex instead of Dota. Also seeing that DOOM Eternal runs fine on Steam Deck it would make sense to play Apex on it.
