Please reward kills/assists again in ranked, for the entire match

Why? Why do kills not count for anything except inside the top 5? There’s literally no point in getting a kill or assist for the first 5-10 squads to go down. You can get a 5 K/A match, place 10th, and lose RP by Platinum IV. How does this improve the game or encourage people to not camp by making kills or assists in the first half of a match meaningless?

I truly don’t understand the rationale whatsoever. How are you also going to make kills or assist not count at the beginning of the match anymore after the entry fees have been raised for the last couple seasons?

I shouldn’t have to just camp and deal with this, respawn needs to revert this immediately.

    Its just APex nowadays, its sniper META and if you dont like it then someone else will. :D

    I already switched to Overwatch and I played Apex since S7. I feel like you gonna end up switching games as well because you clearly dont like it and it will get only worse to the point you will realize its not worth to play this game anymore... Just like me. :D

    I mean if they would atleast separate random teams from pre-mades then I would play, but this matchmaking is a disaster for a game where pre-made advatntage is this high.

    Why do they need to revert it? It's not TDM, its BR. The aim is to live till the end. Not who can kill the most. If you want that then there are plenty of games for it.

    @Ragarath I understand it’s not about who can kill the most and also not saying wins don’t matter as much as they do, but I don’t agree with minimizing how much early kills count now compared to what they used to be.

    If you’re someone who can average 3+ kills per match but always have terrible teammates by nature of how “well” SBMM is, and you have a tougher time cracking the top 10 as a result, that’s where I don’t believe that’s on you and you shouldn’t have your performance minimized that bad.

    @III_Rx_Queen_IIINo I am not that either, in fact in my post I question how this doesn’t encourage more people to camp for the entire match until the top 5, so idk where you’re getting your assessment from.
