@XvArawnvX XBox, PC, or Playstation should be all very much the same for speed within your house. The difference is made by the route you take to get to the server. Unfortunately the US throttles the internet out of nothing more than pure greed. Aside from that slice of life... you can only do so much tweaking of your home network.
Your premium ISP might boast optic fiber and high speeds, but the other networks they connect to might be cooking nacho cheese on the servers and have the speed of a 4800 baud dial up modem. I saw an advert for wireless internet with a popular cell phone company. They sell it no caps for $25 US, but can only promise speeds between 15 to 50 Mbps. This all depends on how close you are to a cell tower and Boris melting his cheese on the servers.
