I don’t know where you got your info from but, the burst mode got a buff by having slightly less recoil not increased fire rate and dmg buff. If they increased those two stats I have yet to notice it and frankly I wouldn’t care. You cant expect someone to notice such subtle changes when it’s not documented. Maybe the buff came last season, which I can vaguely remember. In that case it’s not even worth talking about it now.
@pastaclown already showed the patch notes and I saw my mistake as I completely forgot the burst mode buff as I dont remember every point being said in patch and I didnt try the prowler yet. Even if I had I would’ve likely not noticed it cause I was quite adept to the burst.
And GOSH
They didn`t have any business messing with weapons like Prowler and Hemlock. Prowler was the strongest SMG already, and Hemlock was perfectly balanced, strong but fair.
Now both are quite over the top, but nothing beats the zero skill Energy weapons.
