Purpose of showing spectator count?

Can someone explain purpose of showing spectator count? It makes so much harder to get proof that player was cheating. He alone destroys whole squad (shoots with amazing accuracy) and then you watch ...

@SlivPTS it's one of the many things that doesn't make sense in this game.

But it works like indicator for cheater to start/stop cheating. Most of cheaters are dumb and they continue play with cheats even when you spectate them, but there are exceptions.
Easy anti-cheat can't catch cheaters (FACT) and on top of that game does everything possible to make catching/report of cheater harder.
@Respawn you are on which side?
P.S. Maybe one of community managers can answer?

  @SlivPTS Reporting is the easiest thing ever, what do you mean? Literally a couple of clicks to report a cheater. Respawn can't make it easier if they tried. The thing they probably don't do enough of is following up on these reports.

    @aisthebestletterIt isnt easy on ps. There is no real way to report anyone any more.
