Push to talk PS4 Apex Legends

Question

Is anyone working on a push to talk function for Console players on Apex legends?

this feature would be a great addition for a number of reasons.

Streaming straight from a console is the only way to stream for some, including myself, and I find I have to mute all voice chat so that I can talk to my chat without my teammates getting annoyed with me or saying something rude back to me which I don’t want on my streams but I would like to ability to chat to them in game at times where I do want to communicate.

This is also annoying for players who cant mute their headset but want to play with it on

PC has this option, can it not be brought to console?

I hope this eventually gets patched in

I don't really know, but it would be nice to double-tap the touchpad to talk then double tapping again to turn off the push to talk mic option for say like a Playstation console.

This would be great, but how exactly would you propose to implement it?&nbsp; There sure aren't any extra buttons lying around on our controllers.

Yeah that’s the tricky part but you could change the binding of the team interaction button, saying thank and you’re welcome and such to a hold instead and make the push to talk be a one click
