Put cheaters in the same lobby

Banning is very useless unless you use a proof of identity system for creating new accounts since anybody can create new accounts.

I heard there is even ways to fake hardware ids.

You have to understand that 2 minutes after you ban them they are on another account cheating again .

So you need to deal with the fact you can't stop them from playing and you need to punish them in another way... like having them all play in the same lobby.

Same applies with toxic players, let them play together, same with leavers let them play together.

@Palette24carats how do you identify the cheaters at login to place them in the same place?
You stated, "I heard there is even ways to fake hardware ids.". Yes everything is possible, but not very simple. If they are on another account cheating 2 minutes after being banned, then they must be super awesome fast at flashing BIOS and spoofing new IP. The process will take an average person the better part of a day.

Players get banned from this game all the time. Once in a while a whiner comes in here to rant or cry about it. Right or wrong they got banned, it is now between them and support.

Computers can do a lot of cool stuff, but I have yet to see one read the player's mind on login.

Cheaters have always been and will be! This is very hard to deal with! Perhaps in the future they will come up with a way to remove all cheaters! It would be cool))))

They're probably going to find out in a way that they've been shadowbanned.
I personally think it's better to focus on detection and just ban them.

The match making is kind of off. It should group people by kill death ratio.

Just ban them. If they make a new account, then ban them again immediately.

Can't stop hackers. They can spoof machine ID or use virtual machine. Hence why game like Valorant actually prevents use of Virtual machine (But that means it stops people using legit cloud gaming services like ShadowTech). Maybe it is a good thing to block use of virtual machines,
They can use username+xxx in front of their gmail address as instant unlimited email aliases without having to create additional email accounts.
The only consequence is 5 mins to create new EA account and 10 min forced Apex tutorial. 15 mins and back in as new identity and repeat. Easy to ban, hard to maintain it.
If they're able to bypass software injection detection then that means bans rely on reporting only.
For a start they should at least put additional detection like..maybe 8 head shots in a like 2 secs....
