I don't know if it's just me but I feel like that this gun is still S tier but the gap from the other weapons has been reduced. Volt seems to be a good counter, even Flatline is deadly in CQC if you're good in hip firing. Not to mention Mastiff too, that shotgun is the real op gun to me lol.

Meanwhile the alternator still feels like a pile of crap in comparison lol, p2020 out performs it these days. XD

@Cro_Pittt It's still a great gun, but the Volt is better in every single way. The Mastiff can be good if you can be consistent with it. If you land headshots you'll drop people like flies.

@Cro_Pittt As far everything else goes the only competition the R-99 has is Mastiff, Volt and (if you have the skill) Wingman. Flatline and R-301 are not too far behind and are good picks.Everything else just doesn't compare

@Deliberus I wouldn't put Wingman in there just because you would have to nail every shot(I think 80% of the players can't do that lol). But right now if i have to choose i'll always pick the Mastiff over the R-99, sometimes even if you hit with all the bullets the enemy it isn't enough for him to die. As for the volt, it does more damage so if you have good aim you can outplay someone who has the r-99. Oh don't sleep on the Havoc too 😇.@MandatoryIDtag I don't know what's more useless, the gold Alternator or Double-tap xD.😛

@Cro_Pittt In my hands they’re both useless... I can shoot with the alternator like everyone who at least has some aim but the gun is so slow and not powerful that the enemy can do a 360, scream “LEEEEROYYYY HMMJENKINNNSSS” and go full Bloodhound ‘I bathe in the blød’ on me xD

@Cro_Pittt I agree, if you have the R99 without any mag on it really isn't great.
My order of SMG's has always been Prowler, Volt, R-99.

@Deliberus Hmm, nah the Mastiff isn't competition for the R-99. The clear winner in the SMG's is the Volt...

I would even go to the extent of saying that the Flatline is actually a better weapon than the R-99.

@rockyboy1998 If we're talking about Olympus then you're right, otherwise the Mastiff can 2 shot people while peekabooing around corners on 20Hz servers
