R.I.P. G7

I've been reaaally trying to get this weapon to work again but it really feels redundant since its nerf.

I think season 4 it was really nice, became my main gun, I was enjoying it so much. Was a really solid mid range gun.

After it's nerf it lost its rhythm/feel for me, so i had to leave it and all my beautiful skins behind.

I've recently tried opting for it again, to see if i can get it to work (S6 also made me wonder if its higher damage would come in useful) but it just feels dead.

It feels like r301 is a much better option and outperforms it in sigle fire mode even at mid-long ranges.. also finding it difficult to land the same kinda shots with it i used to.

Anyone else feel this way about the G7???
