This is my Eulogy for Pathfinder I'm sorry but im going to vent a little, call me a cryer or whatever i iust want to share my opinion. I'm a Pathfinder main and this nerf has made completely useless...

It's funny how everyone just comes here and compares Loba to Pathfinder.
1. Her teleportation is at 30-sec cooldown. So, going by your comment you don't know what you are talking about since you haven't even played Loba.
2. Loba is superior as a mobility character? The minute you throw your bracelet, you will be locked in animation(no guns until you have warped to your destination), you can't sprint or take out your gun or slide. The whole warping takes about 4 sec, so you are vulnerable for 3 sec since you are basically invisible for almost 1 sec(maybe less) when warping. Grapple>Teleportation, anyone saying otherwise is wrong. The grapple goes covers more distance horizontally and more than double vertically. And you can take out your weapon instantly when the grapple disconnects. Also, you can throw in a slide/bunny hop with the grapple to make you harder to hit when you touch the ground, while Loba has to put her bracelet back on after warping so she can't slide or sprint after.
3. Her hitbox is definitely not smaller than Pathfinder. Loba is taller/thiccer than Wattson and Lifeline, so you can infer the relative size of Loba and Pathfinder from this picture below.
Lifeline, Wattson, and Pathfinder have almost the same hitbox size and all of them have low profile debuff on them. I don't know Loba's exact size but let me tell you she is bigger than Path for sure, and more closer to Revenant hitbox size. Cuz she thicc 😛
Pathfinder> Loba even after the nerf. You have decided to be a Loba main? Great! I can bet you haven't even touched her once when you made this post and if you did and still say Loba is a better Pathfinder, I don't know what to tell you. If you have a problem with Pathy nerf, make some valid arguments and don't go throwing around completely ridiculous ideas.
- @BaldWraithSimp I will admit I had a loba trapped in a building. Threw down some gas traps and was going to gas her death. She tossed her bracelet out the window.
- @DarthValtrex Better keeper an eye out for those windows and even smaller crevices in buildings, especially in KC as the huts have crevices on the side and on the roof. Now that's where Loba is definitely better than Pathfinder. OP didn't include this in his rant.
@BaldWraithSimpYeah but Pathfinder can get the entire team out of a sticky situation, Loba can't. Toss in that I miss more shots on Pathfinder than any other legend (aside from wraith).
Pathfinder is still a decent legend. He just has to use his grapple tactically now, instead of all over the place. The problem most people have with him, he's not OP anymore and players who could overachieve with an OP legend can't anymore. Now that they are on equal ground they are getting knocked around a bit more.
I think we need to give things more time and see where/how things are in a week or two. I'm really annoyed with the Mastiff right now. I'm starting to think it's just the fact that everyone is using them. But it gets old getting 2 shot knocked by it before you can unload a R-99 clip. If they land a headshot with all pellets it can do 180 damage in one shot.
@BaldWraithSimpSo i was off by a few seconds does thst make literally everything else stated in my post not valid? I bet your the type of guy who gets mad when someone says the like a series because they dont know every detail religiously. She literally just came out 2 days ago
- @XGC_UZUMAKI That was the most detailed post I have made on this forum and you think I was mad? I provided detailed, descriptive reasons why your eulogy(learned a new word!) was wrong. I didn't just say 'hey, you are just off by 5 sec so you are wrong', instead I gave you a very nice and cool-headed logical explanation of why I think what you said isn't true and most people will agree with me(I think).
Actually I am the guy who doesn't remember the name of episodes and characters of a series. And I bet you are the type of guy who gets mad when someone proves you wrong with a very reasonable answer. 🙂- @BaldWraithSimp Im not mad at all it was an analogy since you assumed because i didnt know the exact time her cd was that i just didnt play her the analogy being you calling me out for not watching the show/playing the game because i was wrong on a single detial. To the contrary your detailed post just pointed out that you didn't take into account that lobas ability can be cancelled/commited to early if you double tap the ability button. Loba is no doubt a more viable mobility character than pathfinder with her teleport the range you can travel with either is pretty simular. Regardless of travel distance Loba having the shorter cd allows her to outpace path easily i've pretty much played nothing but Loba since her release since the Pathfinder nerf. I may not know all the details down to the pixel like you but playing both i can clearly see the difference in ability
- @BaldWraithSimp I haven't looked at the comparison between Loba and Paths hitbox yet but ''Lifeline, Wattson, and Pathfinder have almost the same hitbox size'' is wrong. Path is much bigger.
@apostolateofDOOMLook, you can refer to the picture that I provided in my reply which contains every legend's hitbox size with pixel size and see for yourself. This hitbox comparison was done by The Gaming Merchant(the same guy who noticed the discrepancy in Octane's hitbox) and you can check out the video on his channel. I can't say if the comparison is wrong/right since I wasn't the one who did it, but it's from a good source so I believe it for the most part. However, I think we all can agree that Loba's hitbox is not smaller than Pathfinder's. So I was just explaining that.

@BaldWraithSimp I have seen the video before. The distance he's at is inconsistent, especially in the way he's measuring the hitbox but it's useful for a rough guide for showing things like Octanes hit box or pathfinders shoulders ect.. Not accurate imo for a pixel measurement.

@DarthValtrexI'm all for shaking up the meta as it has basically been the same since S2. I understand why people feel like it's two fingers up at those that main Path and considering he and Wraith are the most picked legends, that's a lot of people they cheesed off. I think they could have been a bit more gentle and gone about things slightly differently but it is what it is and understand that without a harsh action they wouldn't have got the reaction they were looking for. Personally doesn't effect me as I been mostly mixing it up since last season anyways.
@apostolateofDOOMPath is much narrow though. It’s a lot easier to hit a square than a twig. No matter where this lands I’m excited about the meta changes its bringing.
it was getting old using the same legends and same strategy. Different legends being OP brings out different strategies and game play.
