Racist on PS4 still not getting banned even after In game Report

Sorry to hear that you are not having fun with the game @Jungle-Beard.

As we have advised on other threads, if you are playing on PS4 and come across a user who is verbally abusive then you need to report it to Sony's PS4 support by following the steps in their help article: https://www.playstation.com/en-ie/get-help/help-library/my-account/parental-controls/how-to-file-a-complaint-against-another-playstation-network-user/

Sony are the only people who can action users on their platform who are abusing the PS4 chat function.

I am merging your various threads together, please do not continue to recreate multiple threads on this topic such as this as they will be locked and action taken.

My kid has grown up listening to it on xbox.... What do you mean??? The difference i guess is I taught him how to handle WORDS and not get caught up in idiots ranting. I don't try and bubble wrap his world, i teach him how to live in the world we have.

Even though I don't approve racism. This is how you should deal with it.

Sad state of affairs when people would rather let Racism and Homophobic slurs get spewed than doing something about it...
Every post that is "just ignore" may as well say I support secretly, hence why I don't want to do anything about it.

  My guy do you not understand how the internet works or something? The internet is a place for toxicity and trolls and almost literally nothing of actual use. Only entertainment. If you have a child playing this game then guess what your responsibility is if you don't like it? Don't let them play it. Very simple. No one gets banned for racism especially on MIC because you can't track mic logs. So your word against his is meaningless in the end. Either way competitive online games, especially FPS games are always toxic as all hell this one is no different.
  Again if you don't want them exposed to the real world of video games then let them play barney or sesame street or spyro or anything that is MEANT for children. Not a shooting game.

    Just because it's on the Internet does not make Racism acceptable. If you believe that, then you are part of the issue.

  I've had two occasions where I've played with racist people. One time he kept saying he wanted to F my N bomb mother like a broken record. Couldn't report him though and I hope you guys didn't mind but I chose not to revive his *. Though this made him even more racist. Some people never had parents or at least good ones. I did say to him that racism is pretty bad, scummy and a low life thing to be. He would of never heard it over his constant ranting about about boning my N bomb mother.
