Ever had people rage quit on you because you picked a low tier character?Ever had people call your favorite legend/main trash because according to their favorite twitch streamer/youtuber, that legend is C or D tier which means she's automatically "garbage"?Ever got a toxic message from an opponent after a game because they let their guard and got obliterated by a rampart in a pubs or ranked game?Maybe you had to deal with racist remarks about rampart's looks and culture while being called a ****** since she wasn't white? (true story btw)How about being harrassed by sensitive twitter and reddit knights for running a spitfire or lstar as a "crutch weapon" even though it's her ONLY PASSIVE? what do you want me to do, not have a passive?You probably had some games where Randoms would constantly W key the entire map, die, than say it's your fault even though you never could get the chance to use her abilities since they keep running away or throw away common sense?if you've dealt at least one of the above, than congrats! you can officially call yourself a Rampart main. /s seriously though why hate on us? Rampart isn't as bad as many think, give all 12 of us a chance and we'll show you why she incredibly underrated.

@soccerking122 It depends really. I definitely take more notice when someone picks a "lower tier" legend such as Rampart but like Hayhor said if you've got decent stats it goes from a ffs they're Rampart to hmm fair enough xDAs for people hating on you for using an L-Star/ Spitfire that's just ridiculous. I had one of my highest kill games playing as Octane using an L-Star and a R301.On a similar note I get hate for picking Octane but I share loot so it's kinda funny.If you enjoy playing a certain legend then no-one should care especially if you're decent or actually try. I've had fun playing as Crypto way back when but it is what it is. Can't change everyone's perceptions. I used to enjoy playing as Caustic but......he's basically just running around farting on people these days (like someone took his hammer away and gave him a pool noodle xD).

@Koochi-Q You moan everytime I pick rampart. 😛You're a part of the problem Mr!@soccerking122 I've had instant leavers the moment the match starts whilst playing rampart but I can't say I've experienced most of the other stuff. That being said I play her nowhere near as much as you.I think you should find yourself a squad to play in lol, solves the problem pretty swiftly. 😛

@MandatoryIDtagSadly, none of my irl friends play apex or really any competitive games as far as i'm aware so i'm stuck alone.@Koochi-Qyou really have a thing for rampart don't ya? don't worry I don't blame you *wink*

@soccerking122 Do people still hate on you with your diamond trail and badges? And I assume you have some pretty good numbers with her to display? If all that is showing I have no idea how they can hate on you.

@hayhor sadly it still happens. when I use other legends like loba, crypto, or gibby, it rarely happens. It's probably the fact that Rampart has had a poor reputation in the apex community for quite a while.

@soccerking122 I've played with a few good ramparts recently, had one game where me (fuse) and a rampart started the match as a 2 in trios and we won the match as we worked well together

@soccerking122 I only feel that way when Hayhor is playing caustic. But what you experience is beyond horrible im sorry you have to go through that.

@E9ine_AC don't worry about it. most of this happened during season 6 and 7 when rampart was actually underwhelming. most of this slowly started to die down around season 8 at least. it rarely happens and isn't as bad as it once was at least.

@soccerking122 Luckily I haven’t but it’s the same if you play with fuse or crypto for instance or in prev seasons mirage. People will hate on you just for picking that legend.

It’s weird that ppl do that, but nothing new in the world...

@soccerking122 Idk, I rather play with a Rampart than an Octane, those are the worst teammates ever.
Also, I usually mute my random squad to avoid having a bad time like that, maybe you should try it sometime. But yeah, you need to know that most part of this game's community is super toxic and have some problems with assuming their mistakes/lack of abilities
