I just got top 5 with 4 kills and a win with 8 kills in ranked mode in back to back games. Neither game gave me any RP. It didnt even register or do the screen after the game that I played in a ranked match. Really sucks because that is about 25 RP I didnt get. Anyone else having this issue where ranked matches dont count.
Were you recently in a group? I've noticed sometimes if you join a group, then leave (or whatever the case may be), the "ranked play" option gets switched back to "Play Apex" (The normal mode).
This issue happened to me where I WON a game, and then realized I was playing a normal!! I cried a little inside, but I am still here to tell the tale.
Make sure you see the rank icon at the bottom during squad introduction, and top right during the game.
Otherwise, you're in normal game mode.
I think its a bug, im in xbox, selected ranked but quicky noticed by my squadmates level 14 badge meant i wasnt playing ranked... when game ended ranked was still selected, hit start and again non ranked game. Switched it after that game from ranked to normal, back to ranked and then i was put into an actual ranked game
Yeah Im on ranked and it puts me in the regular queue.

Please fix this bug. I was definitely in a ranked match, had the ranked badge showing the RP points I earned during the game, had 45 but when the game finally ended I didnt see the RP screen and still had the same amount. Kinda discourages from playing ranked
Definitely will be uninstalling and getting my money back for this season's in game purchases. This bug makes it useless to even play ranked. 1/10 will not redownload till fixed
I am Having this same problem - along with so many other bugs - like not able to pick my character only see a loading screen
