Ranked is NOT fun

Rank does not make sense.  Bronze, silver, and gold are so easy that its easier than pubs.  My friends and I ran through all of those in less than 2 days.  We were top 3 every time with kills/assists maxed out and won 5 games in a row at the end of gold to get to platinum.  Then it platinum it is so freaking hard we cannot even go positive one game.  That is such a large gap it doesnt make sense, especially since platinum is the middle tier.  It also doesnt make sense that diamond and above is the top 3% of players.  That means that other 97% of players are only playing for platinum where you get no good rewards.  A platinum badge means nothing.  Everyone is fighting for the dive trails, and now you only get to keep them for the season, which again isolates players who didnt play before and earned one when there was not a master tier.  Either way, it makes no sense that platinum is the middle tier and is so ridiculously hard and there is no reward for it or diamond anyway that is worth grinding.

    @RelentlessShiba If your team is as dominant as you say in gold you should not have trouble to at least get basic positive points in platinum. Most that struggle in platinum do so because they are not used to killing lots of players. They just finish high every game by playing safe.

    @RelentlessShiba Plat is like the bogey division out of all of the ranks. You have a big mix of Predators, Masters who are trying to get back up there. Diamond level players who are good, and then the general average players who won't make it out of plat but are good enough to hold their own in there.

    I have always said that another rank would be good to have as it would majorly split up the packs and I think it would make the two tiers (new & plat) easier to progress through.

    If you an your squad are as good as you are making out then you shouldn't have any issues making it out of plat, you might just have to change up your tactics and try something new!

    @RelentlessShiba Ranked rewards are an absolute joke. A dive trail reward that disappears after the next season makes the grind not even worth it. And with the new split reset, it makes that grind even more difficult because of the short timeframe.
    If they want to make it more worthwhile they should add rewards for tiers as low as Platinum. But if they want ranked to be even more enticing, they need to add more rewards other than a dive trail.
    An idea for a new ranked reward I think would be cool is something like a mod for legend skins (or even just a new legend skin) that adds a glowing effect to the skin for whatever rank they achieved. For example, a Predator would have a red effect. I think this would add more incentive for players to grind out ranked.
