@apostolateofDOOM Apex is a much younger game, it's only been out for a little over a year. Fortnite has been out for almost 3 years. Apex has "sold" 10 million copies while the estimates for Fortnite are in the 50 Million range. 50+ Million Copies = larger player base = more streamers. Toss in that the majority of people who watch streamers are kids. It's just not my thing, if I want to watch something I typically watch stand up comedy, lectures on physics/science or history.

But as Apex grows, it could overtake Fortnite. Will it achieve PUBG like numbers? Who knows, but PUBG numbers are way up there.

If Apex continues to release good content that players want and improve with each season. I could see long term growth.

What is sold copies?
I dint pay any money to Apex Legends. I, only payed for my PC hardware and Internet
They need to pay their servers,developers,staff and others stuff
Have got ApexLegends nice free skins and other stuff trough Apex packs. No money spend

@Mary-Reilly-Film @DarthValtrex is referring "sold copies" as in how many people would've purchased the game if we had to pay for said game. So in context, they're saying that Apex would've had 10 million people purchase it within the span of a year, versus Fortnite's 50 million in the span of 3 years.
No one's paid for anything unless you've bought skins, packs or the battle pass. Game is entirely free.
