I liked Arenas the first season. The matchmaking was better, and before they added ranked to it, you didn't get penalized for leaving early when it was clearly one sided.
Now I won't touch it. On the rare times I play, I reserve the right to leave early and respect my own time. So Pubs BR it is.
That's really hard to say. I haven't gotten into it this season so far, but I have before and I'm happy if I'm winning 50% to 2/3. The biggest problem as a solo q is it is SO random which team mates you get. But...if you learn Arenas, you can many times carry your own team, because unless you are against a premade, you can often turn the tide.
If I could do pre-mades, I'd actually prefer going in Arenas, than BR mode. But yeah, haha to finding 2 other people who would play Arenas extensively.

Do you feel like your pre-made experience is different than in BR than in Arenas? My KDR is drastically (up to 4 times) higher in BR solo queue than with either of the sets of people I play with. I queue with my main bud who is way above my pay grade and we get slaughtered in his lobbies the vast percentage of the time. (This did not used to be the case with him in earlier seasons, his MM has cranked up a lot over the last few). And my other group is two guys who are just about as bad as I am at the game, and my KDR playing with them is also terrible compared to solo queue.
