Re: abuse of a glitch for stats
Chatted with him on twitch just now. Saw him use the bug to kill players in a match. He was saying abusing a bug to gain an advantage is not cheating, infact everyone should do it, claiming it is as justifiable as the bhop. Then he went into training mode to show how the bug is done, advocating others to do it aswell.
At one point in the conversation he said everyone not doing it is bad, as it's not giving you the advantage that's already in the game. Lost a few braincells listening to him trying to justify it.
Chaining melee attacks together like that, does what 60-90 dmg per sec? Add the constant knockback, and the ability to keep pushing forward towards the target, is gamebreaking. If its one thing I agree with him on, it's that. But I strongly believe this is a bannable offence.
His thought process on the whole thing is to continue doing the bug, stream it, make others do it, until its fixed. By his logic this would lead to pandemic and Respawn would be forced to fix it. And that he and others are safe doing so, because its not not bannable.
Would love for Respawn to chime in on this. I've never seen this bug outside of a few random funny Apex videos on Youtube. I don't believe this is as widespread as he claims.
