Re: Am I able to link my apex legend account from my xbox to my computer?

Cross progressions means they would lose out in the money it takes to play different accounts on different platforms. If you think about it from a business standpoint cross progression is bad for business. That’s why you will never see it in a game from EA. Just being realistic.

I would like to submit a counter to this post. I just think that if they made cross progression I would be more willing to keep paying for a season pass. If you create more opportunities for me to play, you are creating more opportunities for me to give you money. I am currently playing on PC with a season one pass. Basically, all of my PC friends have moved on from APEX but I have tons of Xbox friends who have continued to play. I would love to keep playing Apex but as of now, I don't want to have to buy the battle pass on PC but I don't want to start all over on Xbox.

It goes hand in hand with the price of epic skins. From a business standpoint can you price skins at $18 and make more money then if you price skins at $5. I personally would be more willing to spend $5 on a few great skins than $18 on one. Take League of Legends as an example. I wouldn't put down money for a Braum skin that was $10 but as soon as it went on sale for $5 I couldn't pass it up. I put $20 into my League account and know that I have put more money in since. In the long run, Riot has made more money off me (and I'm sure many other people) from selling us a lot of cheap skins vs. a few very expensive skins.
