@OldTreeCreeper Do you know of any support style equipment that might help Ps4 users, headset brands etc?

@NickBeam27 I use the Steel Series Arctis 7P+ where you can change the EQ to increase footstep sounds.

@Cheese9Man and these work well for Ps4? Do you hear enemy footsteps better with this particular brand headset?

@NickBeam27 I primarily use them on the ps5 and switch. Also works on the ps4. Yeah by lowering down the bass and highs you can hear footsteps better. There’s a tutorial on reddit on how to set the EQ.

Yes I can hear footsteps better lowering the down the volume of some explosions but if Apex decides it’s not gonna give you footstep sounds, it’s not gonna give you any whatever headset you’re using. LOL.

@Cheese9Man lol fair enough. So for you, turning down the bass and high and keeping mid higher helps alot with the footsteps?

I will try anything at this point. Thank you for the reply and aid. I will deffinetly give these a go. Where is the best place to go for this brand?

@NickBeam27 sorry no. Only thing I could think of was to funnel the sound from xbox or Ps through a laptop or pc running Steel Series Sonar, but I havnt tried that yet.
Yt can hear enemies miles off on his pc and their direction too, on basically ordinary headphones.

@NickBeam27I’m in Asia so I’m not sure where you can get one. With a popular brand like steel series, pretty sure you can get it anywhere. Note that you would need a Windows/Mac computer to change the EQ. Only the Sony first party headphones can change the EQ directly in the PS4/5.
There are two color variations of the Arctis 7P+.

@Cheese9Man Awhh ok, thanks for the info. So there is a version of this brand and make which would be Sony, which with that brand I could change the EQ within my Ps4 system?
