Bullet sponges
People have way to many hit points, I can literally empty an entire clip into someone and they don't go down. This is an issue...

Best of both worlds.. Me downing a purple armor guy fairly fast (i even missed quite alot of shots) and also me getting one shot killed while wearing gold armor.

Respawns maths/HP/Armour values dictates you should not of been one shotted,your reaction confirms this.now that clearly a BIG problem,what if that same problem is causing bullet sponging,kinda a bug working both ways..
Peacekeeper does 114 damage max? you have 100 HP and 100HP armour,then your purple helmet lowers headshots by something like 30% .clearly the games got issues.

Yeah, it was actually the mastiff shotgun. Which can do apparently 288 headshot damage.
And apparently helmets only diminish the bonus damage.... Not the total headshot damage.
So 50% of a 288 headshot is 216. Which would kill me with an absolute perfect headshot.
Yeah, i was surprised... Because the chances of it happening were so small and i was doing so well up until that point. 😛
Even though it seemed like a cheap death he had to get in really close to do that. It could have easily been avoided by me if i wasnt distracted shooting at a downed guy.
It was really my own fault.
If the ttk was lowered then every engagement would feel like that shotgun blast. Not good.
didn't notice it was the mastiff.i still stand by my point as i've seen it with the peacekeeper many times and i've also see a friend look in complete shock after landing and a guy punching him once taking 100HP even though it takes 4 punches to kill in this game.
The numbers the game states and the actual numbers don't match some times which is not something that should be happening,they should be fully synced at all times.if i am wrong why are people reporting doing X amount of damage in game then to only see a fraction of that damage displayed after the match .
That seems like more of a connection issue then anything else.
Ive played this everyday since the beginning (level 80)
And for me the hit detection is really good. Punching seems sort of broken though ill give you that.... People seem to always hit me and my punches auto-slide away from them and miss them completely almost every time. It could be an issue with controllers or low sensitivity though.
When it comes to firing weapons everythings fine on my end aside from one issue.
The game sometimes wont count my final shot or two right before i die... Again, probably an issue with connection or lag since im already dead on the server side but not yet on my side... Fractions of a second type stuff.

Indeed,its the tick rate/netcode its worse than any of Apexs competitors and seriously needs addressing.
