Re: Confirmation before using Overwolf: Bannable?

From what I know, overwolf is fine to use but remember using 3rd party software is always at own risk.
I personally would stay away from 3rd party software, it's not worth the risk.

I really wish they would have a much more clearer stance on the matter. Overwolf's Live stats on teammates and opponents in the lobby is really nice info to have specially for players who play rank.

@Daze623 It was, The EAC website had whitelisted software but is taken down for some reason.
The main software that over wolf uses was whitelisted so that's why i think its fine

@ZeelmaekersI it interesting question. I use some other software that first blacklisted by EAC, and then whitelisted and started working again. Is it safe to use? Can situations like: nah, we were kidding, its banable even when whitelisted, happens?

Should be safe to use when it's whitelisted again.
Even when you get banned, add in your mail with a link to that source and that you were using that software.

But I don't think that situation will happen
