@Cheese9ManOn ps5 I use the ps4 controller with PS backbuttons. I dread the day when they make a ps5 version where I have to use the ps5 controller. I need my underneath crouch and jump buttons.

Battle Beaver make a PS5 controller, and their products are really well-regarded. I'm not sure what others might offer one with back buttons, but they probably exist. There are quite a number of custom controller makers.
If you are a hardcore player you will be very frustrated at your lack of mobility without paddles. Unless you are one of those freaks that like to play claw (eww). Crouch and jump are absolutely necessary to have on paddles for movement but I prefer having 4 paddles and trigger stops so I used a scuf on the PS4 and the Elite 2 on xbox. The Elite controllers are the best competitive controllers ever made by a wide margin and the Elite 2 improves on the mold a bit but the reliability of the elite 2 is much worse than the one with many people having issues including me having one of my paddles stop working. So if you find a discount on an elite 1 you can't go wrong. The scuf wore down pretty quickly for me as well and the paddles feel really cheap. I am kind of a controller fiend though and always trying new tech. Currently I switched to PC on a new rig and am playing on a keypad with wasd mapped to a thumbstick and am loving it.
- @pandareno1999 Oh I'm sure there will be aftermarket options. The issue with that is they are almost always junk that breaks quickly. My PS backbuttons I can move to a new PS controller every time I wear one out.

This is what I use on PC. As a lifelong console player I could just not acclimate to the wasd for movement and still be as competitive as I was on controller. However this has transformed my ability to play M&k and now I am as good as I ever was on controller but with all the advantages of mouse and key.

Everything he said is true. The Elite 2 is regarded as best controller of all controllers but LOLZ the manufacturing is junk... it has a megathread on reddit where ppl speak about their issues right out the box and asking which lot numbers ppl have to hope it’s gotten better... but so far, nope...
I had 2 elite 2’s because I had to bring them back because of stick drift and not registering Y and A... my 2 elite’s lasted years... even after throwing xD
