It's like a secret drug habit a person is trying to keep away from friends.

You constantly have to hide devices when friends come round. Like sniffing drugs in the toilet out of shame.

It is like god mode cheats in an offline single player game. Investing time into pointless achievement not truly earned. Like someone who made a University diploma out of a card board box.

It also means a person becomes dependent on it. So they actually become much much worse as a player than if they played normally. Not just in Apex, but any other FPS game as well. It lowers your own skill.
