Some other advanced or missed tips on the crypto drone

- Without even scanning, you can place the drone on top of the house/building where the enemies are so that the drone sound will drown out a lot of your footsteps when attacking that squad.

- You can activate the EMP even when you’re not in drone mode

- Pathfinder can grapple on to the drone

- If you’re Fuse you can ult the drone to have a huge ring of fire covering a whole building and basically having wallhacks like this video

- Back in season 7 you can do this but you’ll get a suspension

One thing I would add when playing crypto is to really utilise momentum from movement when using your drone.
E.g let's say I'm coming up to a downhill slope with some cover at the bottom, and there's a fight another 70m ahead. I'll sprint slide down the hill aiming for said cover, during this slide I'll activate my drone.
This allows my character to move into cover whilst I position my drone for either recon or offensive purposes.
The quicker you can gather information as crypto the more of a help you are to your team, extended drone use should be avoided unless the situation calls for it.
Edit: hit survey beacons with the drone when you can too, there's no wind up time on the survey beacons for his drone.....and frankly advanced ring knowledge is huge gains. 😛
