Yeah but what is the logic behind this. Changing backdated categorized kills. I did them with a past sniper. They should count from now on as AR and not like this :/

I think it’s not fair. Over 1000 sniper kills is a good casual achievement and just cause they decided the g7 is from now on no sniper anymore all kills in the past doesn’t count as sniper kills.

@LexSteel91 well I mean, did the G7 really feel like a sniper? I mean I rarely used a Longbow/TripleTake/Kraber because they are terrible in CQC but the G7 dominated in all ranges... like an AR should..

Im agree to switch it to AR and they count from
now on as ar kills but shouldn’t the kills still count as sniper which I achieved with a official sniper gun in s3 ? :/

I made a bug report on this, I lost kills too, so it does appear to be a bug, I mean, I don't think EA would do this on purpose...

@xpl0its There update post says it was on purpose.

G7 kills go to AR kills now.

If it was a bug, you wouldn't get the AR kills either.

@iBlockHead Which update post says it was on purpose ? I just read in the bug report, a answer from a EA manager but there is nothing with purpose.

I don’t think you get our point.. g7 kills should count as AR kills now.. that is absolutely clear.
But delete BACKDATED Sniper Kills Is not fair. Why punish people who are proud made hounded of g7 sniper kills in season 3 just cause the g7 isn’t a sniper anymore.

@LexSteel91 check patch notes, says they adjusted kills with it to reflect stats.

Thus meaning since it's now an AR, all kills made by it will now count as AR kills.

I don't know how you can understand them transferring the kills to AR but not understand them taking kills off of Sniper kills... the kills gotta come from some place right?

Anyways I always felt like the G7 was more of an AR without the autofire feature. So I'm OK with it. Way easier to get kills with it than any actual sniper.

I read the notes.. but there is nothing with backdated transfer. Just it’s count forward as AR what i understand 100%.

S1-S3 G7 sniper kills should stay as as sniper kills that Is just fair. I never had something like this in games (also apex) that stats/achievements are deleted or transfered backdated after a change. (Best example are the permaskytrails).

The answer from EA in the bug report let me hope. I will write respawn and post the answer here for the other players.
