Lol! But I sort of get it, like people just use characters, never really read the abilities too closely, don't take them to the firing range. So the assumption, from Gibby, is you can't shoot through shields at all. At least that's my explanation for that person because otherwise, its' really bad.
I'll say, you guys had like the most not aggressive enemies ever. Which is good, and I'm not slamming them, just very surprised they were not pushing. Maybe they had other teams around. But it did lead to some nice extra casual time for your dialogue, making it only that much funnier :D
I've seen a rampart player jump over their own wall to use it as cover to shoot back at me as I flanked them from behind. All they hit was the energy barrier and all I hit was their face with amped wingman rounds. XD
You can imagine who won in that scenario.
- DarthValtrex5 years agoHero (Retired)@KelRiever The biggest issue with getting people to use abilities is to get them to understand they are NOT wasting them. I tell every noob I play with, use your abilities. You'll figure out how and when to use them if you're using them. But you won't learn if you're constantly saving them. Typically by the time you figure out you need to use them it's already too late.
Many still struggle with that idea. I can't caustic teammates who don't spam traps. Lay them down! Throw those bad boys all over, you'll learn what good and bad placement is as you spam them.
