Just putting this out here:
Destroyer2009's username doesn't reference his age, it seems to be referencing a short from 2009 called Destroyer: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1344822/
It's description is: "A man navigates through a future of overwhelming security.", which is quite fitting for what they have been doing, so don't be too quick to call them out as a "15 year old" (Not that we should really be looking into their personal details anyways, but a bit more context regarding his username)
There also has been no proof of the servers getting directly hacked either, a lot of false information has been floating around as a lot of players are uncertain and are just spreading possible theories. We know that the device of one of the participants was compromised, possibly malware, which could have been used to cause the exact scenario we witnessed.
Overall, nothing really confirmed as far I'm aware, but Thor from Pirate Software has made some videos with some amazing insight and context regarding the issue:
It's also important to keep in mind that with the Ranked LVL Minimum being lowered to 20 (from 50) could make it look like there are many more cheaters, whilst simply the cheaters just moved from casual to ranked. Whilst the amount of cheaters that are witnessed seem to be higher, it's likely that they just moved from one place to another.
Of course the total amount of cheaters could've increased as well, but this is a bit hard to pinpoint for normal players like us, so cheaters going from casual to ranked is definitely a plausible theory.
