Re: Got titanfall 2 and it’s better than apex

The movement in Apex Legends is the best movement in a FPS game out there. Its not too much, and its not too restricted as well. Its perfect where it is.

  • @LordloshBangDirty Bomb has better movement than Apex, much more responsive and the legends + abilities are basically the same.

Main down sides is they don't support it anymore (for years now) and a declining player base but it still runs better and more stable than here.

You guys are praising TF2, and it's making me want to redownload it and play Monarch again.

@apostolateofDOOM Yeah, he did. I was just chiming in since no BR would ever run as smoothly as any arena shooter. :/
For me, Apex runs better than Warzone and PUBG, either usual performance or network performance related.

@BaldWraithSimp  I've never really had an issue with PUBG, there was a period before they added battlepasses in which half the lobby would disconnect every match, and if you did make it back in you'd load into the map at some secluded point in a sea of disconnected players with one or 2 guys running around scrubbing up easy kills. XD

Never had any hit reg or audio issues on it though.

I never play that game, and can`t comment on it. But for me the movement part of Apex Legends its what makes the game unique, and its the best, when we compare such FPS/BR competitive titles.

Quake also have great movement system. I prefer Apex tho. Not too much jumping and air strafe jumping involved.

@MandatoryIDtag I get constant packet loss in PUBG and Warzone. In Apex, I face packet loss issues sometimes too but mostly it's lag-free(when it's bad, it's really bad). I haven't faced any no-reg(not even once) since that whole S5 netcode update bad hit-reg fiasco.

From what I could gather, peeps on the console are still facing hit-reg issues and really bad lag. I am on PC so I don't know about that. And can't speak for other PC players too.

The comparison of TF2 and Apex is funny. They are different games.

And one likely has no server load vs the other that is likely maxed out.

  • @hayhor No if TF2 servers are shaky at all, you'll see frames dropping all over the place. I just had a game like that. Skipping the whole match. And if it's just a single player lagging, you'll get dropped in an instant.

TF2 servers have been ultra reliable from launch. Even last December when it was free for PS Plus members on PS4, it was rock solid. There were 80-100K online regularly during that month.
  • @hayhor y agree lol
seems because 65% of playerbase treat apex as deathmatch game (hot drop+blue circle

You really need to play TF2 multiplayer to understand it.   It’s actually still got a player base for its main game mode and servers at least as reliable as Apex.  TF2 is a success story still.  You’ll only run into trouble if you pick esoteric game modes at anything but peak hours.  Main game is always going though.
