If I see a plat 4 and a gold 4 duo that hot drop with 3 other teams I simply break off and land somewhere else.

I just leave too. I've had enough of teammates landing late with 3 squads, insta dying, and leave me to 1v9. It's simply not any fun. And if I break off and ping somewhere safe, they still go to the jm's spot anyway and insta die.
