Re: Horizon is still too effective and you know it.

I'm so glad others have noticed her lack of sound. I've brought this up many times in the past and people would disagree.

ive been lasered before when shes going up in her lift. how you can have dead accurate accuracy like that moving that fast doesnt make sense. if anything she should go up slower so shes easier to hit and she should have less accuracy if she decides to shoot

also the lift lasts SO LONG. you can pop a bat at the beginning, jump off at the top and take it for another ride. should last as long as ashs ult if not shorter

Accuracy on the lift has been nerfed, so its not as effective as it once was.

Nevertheless she is still too effective.

@Axs5626Sxa5001I believe her being super strong along with the gun meta is also feeding all the controller player hate too. As you said, her no stun and special movements allow controller players to do things they cannot do normally. She makes teams inherently more aggressive, as seen in the most recent algs events where there was a lot more of that. This is due to her lift which the whole team can use often to push other teams. Then you add in a gun meta that basically made shotguns, particularly the PK, obsolete so all close up fights favor controller players more.

Hal is a good example. Since moving to horizon he also switched to controller. When they tried to change metas he struggled big time.

@KyldenarDefinitely Nemesis for the rest of the season. Then season 18 is a charge rifle and longbow buff and SMG bullet fall off like the current charge rifle where it deals less damage at longer range.

I’ve played daily (about 2-3 hours a night) for the last 3 weeks (approximately 21 days) and I’ve secured 2 wins.

I cannot— I repeat , I cannot overestimate how frequently the player killing me is a Horizon off their grav-lift. 

I’d like to see pick rates that show Legend picks based on “MMR buckets”. The idea of a Legend having a 100% pick rate per team in certain buckets is absurd to me. It’s compounding the issue that already exists regarding strict pub MMR. For like the 6th season in a row, I’m going to end the season with a KD below 1. It’s ridiculous. 

@KyldenarSMGs up close. In particular r99 and prowler. Absolutely no one competing uses shotguns, even mnk folks. It used to be PK had a time and eva was OP. Now no one even looks at those guns. For range, mid and long nemesis is king.
