Re: I should be able to pick my legend right?

Yeah same. Happens on both BR and arena modes from time to time. I can still hear the whole process of going through legend selection and the banner screens, but things do not return to normal until I am in the dropship/buy menu. It is by pure luck that I have yet to miss out on my first choice of legend while this has happened, and I don't even know if it's possible to pick with an invisible menu and mouse cursor.

I am still getting this other issue that started since last patch too. The second that we transition from the champion banner screen to the dropship, the game craps out. It either hitches like crazy for the next couple of minutes or kicks me to the splash screen, but only on the very first match since launching from desktop.

I mean I've just jumped on for several games and had literally no issues(other than the galaxy brains MM gave me). Admittedly avg ping was slightly higher than usual.
So I don't think it's a format issue lol.

@Cheese9Man No I have ps5 and have not had this thing you guys say the past couple of days. I reported this threads to the mods and they asked the question. The more detail that people can give the greater chance there is it can be reproduced and fixed.

@Cheese9Man I was playing with a friend Sunday and he had this issue too. Plus in game his ping was crazy high. But last night after the update his game seemed to be working again. He is on PS4.

@hayhor Played a few hours today. It happens much less often now and I was also playing with two other friends so I didn’t have any issues pre-selecting my legend.

@RokeSnow yup can confirm that it still happens to me and only on BR mode. Will probably get fixed by season 15.

Darn it. It still happens from time to time. Random teammate chose my legend so Respawn decided to pick Rampart for me…

It's happening to me more often than not, maybe 3 games out of 5? I'm looking at the loading screen until we drop. My duo had the same. It seems more frequent in trios than duos but I don't have a big enough sample to draw a conclusion from that.

Unfortunately I didn't have performance display on, I'll try to remember to change that.

@pandareno1999 I don’t know if the bug is now connected to our accounts but it does happen a lot more on specific people. Unfortunately I can’t see them fixing this ASAP as not a lot of people are crying about it. It’s not game breaking but it’s very annoying.
