I know why I think he's toxic, but in case there's stuff you know that I don't, please elaborate on his toxicity. - hayhor1 year agoHero@DankToliet For once we are on the exact same page!
- @DankToliet Nowadays you are toxic when you voice your opinion, strange world we life in

@BallisticMVPYou must not watch his matches where he degrades his teammates. Just choose to ignore all those clips.
- @DankToliet I just don’t find it toxic.

"I just don’t find it toxic."
I'll admit it's one of the most over-used words there is at the moment, but you may want to look up the actual definition of the word "toxic" if you're unsure as to whether or not it applies here. - @reconzero Because you asked me I did that cause I got curious but I still have to say I don’t see him as toxic at all. Yes he can be loud yes he can gets angry at his mates and insults them but this is really as far as it goes.
What I found:
Toxic people can be self-centered, manipulative, abusive, and lacking in empathy. Toxic people drain others' energy by constantly demanding attention, sympathy, or validation.
lying, bending the truth, exaggerating, or leaving out information so that you take a certain action or have a certain opinion of them.
I can see that he is “abusive“ at times but that’s it. I served 9 years and can certainly say if he were a toxic person that 90% of the army is. - reconzero1 year agoSeasoned Ace@BallisticMVP
Well said. Yes, there are a lot of people these days who will classify someone as "toxic" for looking at them sideways. It's all a little out of control. - hayhor1 year agoHero@BallisticMVP He goes further than his teammates tho. He lashes out at enemies, random teammates and the devs. All on stream in front of more than 10k people, many of whom are kids who then go on Apex and blurt out the same stuff pretending to be him. Be it toxic or abusive, it's all the same to me. And because he has an audience he enables others to think it's ok.
@DankToliet In all honesty, they should be banned from the game for more than just being toxic. If we look back at the recent ALGs hack, Hal stayed in the match after knowing he was under the effects of a hack and he shot at other players with the aimbot the hack gave him. Despite not getting the hack himself, he still used cheats knowing they were enabled while Gen stepped away from the fight and then left the match.
I'm surprise he's not in any kind of trouble for it either. Like, for real... if you notice you suddenly had aimbot, especially when you're in a competition, you stop IMMEDIATELY and report it to the game devs, or in this case, the event admins, not go, "hahaha aimbot goes brrrrrrt".- E9ine_AC1 year agoHero+
@DankToliet Let's keep in mind this is a job. If your at work and 2 coworkers do not do as they are told by their boss then grilling is gonna happen. Doesnt matter if its your normal everyday job or something on the side. These folks are playing for hundreds of thousands of dollars and if someone throws that chance then yes hard grilling will happen.
This is not toxicity this is a passion of wanting the win knowing they could get the win but lost due to someone not listening. This is how they make their living so they will feel a certain type of way when people screw up.
Others out there are just as toxic in their ways. But, we must also take into consideration they are very very good friends and speaking the way he may could be the norm for them. Until Ver or Reps claims he is toxic then its their normal way of speaking to each other in specific moments. If someone did something not to bright and ends up losing 100k for a company most jobs would fire you on the spot. Just saying. lol
- E9ine_AC1 year agoHero+@Midnight9746 Considering he stopped firing his weapon once he had noticed and informed his team he will not be able to help them in the fight due to what was going on I fail to see the problem. They lost that match in that moment mind you. He could of went to slaying the lobby but he chose to sit in a corner and die because he knew something was not right.
Blaming him for something that he had no control over is not to proper. He could not help what had happened to him nor did he know it was happening until he noticed it. Sure he could of left the game completely but sitting in a corner to die in the end was about the same. - @E9ine_AC He didn't just sit in the corner though, he shot down the players who came into the building, saying, "I think I'm good", and after his shots were clearly snapping to the other players, he kept shooting.

But is it ToS-okay? - E9ine_AC1 year agoHero+@CCbathwater It is fine by the ToS in the game. He is not breaking any rules. He doesn't speak this talk in side the games voice chat and he doesn't type out his insults or thoughts inside the game. So what he does on Twitch and Discord plays no role into what can happen to him inside the game in terms of is he breaking the rules.
- CCbathwater1 year agoSeasoned Ace@E9ine_AC Aaah, so it's okay to call teammates names and be toxic about them, expose them by name, etc., as long as you don't do it in game, but just on Twitter, Reddit, etc.? Got it.
- hayhor1 year agoHero
@E9ine_ACIf I spoke to coworkers the way he does to his I'd be fired on the spot so let's not justify his toxicity with "It's a job". Even as a Chief Engineer I couldn't speak this way.
- hayhor1 year agoHero@Midnight9746 Hal shot players to get the game canceled. He said flat out it was dumb that DZ had to play out a game as a duo and then switch players. What he did made a lot of sense. They couldn't keep going like that.
- E9ine_AC1 year agoHero+@hayhor Oh the way he speaks to them def would warrant most to leave or speak out on it. At the end of the day whoever was the boss didn't mind it. I do not think what he does is right or proper but we have no idea the stress something like that has to take on someone. A lot stress out simply just playing pubs for him this is life.
- E9ine_AC1 year agoHero+@CCbathwater In reality if its not happening inside the game or on the forums and such then its a twitch/discord problem.
- @hayhor I've only heard about and seen his actions before and during the hack. I didn't know he was trying to get the match cancelled.
Although I'm surprised he couldn't get the game cancelled in another way, like telling the event admins or having his whole team back out to cause the event staff to wonder where TSM went.
