Re: Is Bloodhound a Boy or a Girl

I don't care what gender, race or sex orientation of a character is. I just play the one that's fun.

Who the fudge cares about these things?

It's a person. That's enough for me.

  • We want to know because we like the lore. And honestly I'm pretty sure Respawn is leaving hints about Bloodhounds gender. And if I'm right Bloodhounds a girl with a brother but their names escape me

  • Its human nature to wonder and it adds to the character to know his/hers gender just bc we know means nothing towards our option on them it just means were invested enough to know each detail also it's a fictional character so.....

Bloodhound is non binary yes, we've all established that, the question is whether biologically he's male and female to be specific lol.  Like crazy said it really doesn't matter, but curiosity on the matter is only natural lol.

The lore we get from the loading screen originally vaguely implied that bloodhound was a male in origin. Bloodhound as an adult also has very masculine energy as stated above, but i am eering towards bloodhound actually being female in origin after watching the lore.

Perhaps the male vibe comes from the fact bloodhound was raised and trained by hunters, who seemed to be predominantly male if that video clip was anything to go by. Bloodhound may have shed her femininity due to this however obviously aware that they are not male either, takes the non binary route as they do not feel particularly bound to either  gender due to the nurture received growing up.

    Just a thought. 😛

  • I say male as well even tho all VA are female. Real VA is female but the distortion of the masks makes him sound male. This VA sounds female but it’s pre-balldrop (puberty) so it sound both male & female like alot of kids before that time.
  • My vote is biological female.

While I actually enjoy the mystery surrounding bloodhound as a character, I must admit that it seems their "gender identity" distracts from the point.  The point is, nobody knows,  and none of it matters. But that goes both ways,  I have a real hard time buying the idea that bloodhound would give 2 craps about the pronouns you referred to him/her/they/it as.

Bloodhound is Bloodhound, no gender needed.
