I don't think its off, but I am pretty sure they are constantly twicking things based on the feedback and the data they are seeing.

They might have adjusted the "skill brackets" so there is a little bit more mixing in matches.

Also I think there are more specific algorithms on how they build squads now, and it seems like when there is low level player in a match, he is usually gets thrown in a squad with more experienced players. That's just my experience of course, as I did play like 30 games with a friend, and probably 80% of the time, the third random person we got in our squad was a new player with low level and low kill count who didn't quiet know how to play. It was much more rare for us to get a player who was about the same level and kill count as both of us.

So it seems to me that they are diluting the players a little bit more and you are starting to see squads that might have greater skill variations and not as difficult to fight compared to when all three players are above average. It just sucks when your squad gets the noobs, but it is what it is.
