@DarthValtrex If all other squads are dead you win that round by default and that means you didn’t capture the train. You have to capture the train (so other squad(s) have to be alive).

Definitely not doable when other squads understand controlling the train means a win.

@DarthValtrex Well they also know that killing is winning as well, but thats why it’s perplexing to see that the requirement isn’t just winning a round instead of just capturing.

Since my first wtf post, it seems I was a bit spinny...could be because my fermented chicken egg were not yet fremented..who knows?..🤨..Capturing is the mode...you can have 15-20 kills..doesn't really matter..just hold the train before the others and you're good to go..If you have sub par smates....don't kill the last dude trying to get on....melee him off to get the win,,,🤓

Having same issue. I just won my first game, winning all 3 rounds in the process, and didn't get any "captures" for the challenge.
If you can only complete this by actually capturing the objective and not killing all the other squads, then that challenge is broken and not well thought out since every other squad is going to be on/at the train trying to capture it. The only way to actually capture the train is if you get in a lobby that doesn't know what they are doing and isn't going for the train.

Respawn, this need fixing asap. Whether you capture the train or not is entirely up to the other team.

@Koochi-Q Yup, the only other time is when they are busy fighting off the train and you can sneak on it. But that is rare and only happens once or so.
