Re: Legit Question: I'm done with the Battle Pass, what do I do now?

@NaRnIaaa There are many people who don't even main the game at level 500 and just because some known blue haired streamer gets paid to play other games doesn't add any weight lol.

You always use Ninja as some point to back up your claims. 😛

@1ronKeys  I think it has already been explained pretty well from other posts in this thread that due to the repetitive nature and lack of incentive to play that there's no point in grinding it out any further. Quests were really really bad, killing the same prowlers x amount of times for an A4 page of lore that was drawn out over all that time just to force players to keep logging in to collect those chests.. It was abysmal imo.  This isn't FIFA, some generic numbers game or something on an Atari where players just appreciated the fact they had the technology to be able to play.  MOST shooters, or f2p games for that matter, provide you with an in game incentive you earn as you play whether it's purchasing abilities or upgrading them, unlocking levels/content, skins, a currency or multiple ways you can earn and spend. I'm not saying they should have side missions but something that focuses on and complements the actual game play.

You said it yourself they are releasing S6 in a month. I now have 4 weeks where there's a void as i have already done everything so i take a break like many many others. Now the BR market has all this competition, people are leaving in droves, while some won't ever come back who might have stayed if they had something to offer.

''and this is an absolutely horrific dynamic. You end up playing the game out of obligation instead of enjoyment. The complete reason you play he game has become skewed. playing the game becomes more like a chore/job that you're paying them for the privilege of.''

This is the battle pass! Even getting the next free one from your original purchase isn't enough to keep people here as they've had enough of the lack of content, incentive or rewards.

Being able to accommodate both those who don't play often and those that grind it out regularly is a balance they aren't even close to atm.

Hmmm, as I have mentioned its not a grind for me. I know I'll get the bp done easily enough just by playing, getting most weekly and dayly challenges done by play. I really enjoyed the quest games, usually getting them done in one, but I do not repeat them as I fear a heart attack 😃

I just got to gold yesterday so some more to play for  there.

Ive got loads of rewards, some I use some I don't, along the way but I do not understand why personal satisfaction is no longer a tangible reward for some. Why is improving your stats over last season not enough?

It is an achievement to improve oneself and therein lies a great enjoyment of the game, actual reward or no.

@OldTreeCreeper Stats are easily manipulated and not something i even bother looking at as i get no real satisfaction knowing if my K/D or W/L ratio goes up or down by whatever amount per season. I want to have fun in game and know that i'm getting something, anything, for my time except drop - kill - win or drop - kill - lose. Same old, same old.. Just like the quests.. 😛

From your perspective, i understand at gold you can push to plat and get a team and keep climbing which is something you can work towards but i'm already 500, completed BP, pred from a previous season before exploits were everywhere and i can't even get that now because i don't have 12 hrs every day to play since that change.

When they first introduced master, i thought that would replace pred in the amount of RP it took to achieve and have pred at a higher cost but it's determined by time now, not skill. Not something i have enough of to get to where i was previously and no incentive for me to only come second.

Forgetting the fact that at D3 + you'll be matched with or fight against golds which makes the rank (without even mentioning the numerous exploits) not worth achieving currently anyways.

I liked the idea @DarthValtrex had with matches that cost legend tokens with unique reward. Something long term grinder have plenty of and a means in which to spend them.

Something is better than nothing imo.

@apostolateofDOOM I commend your efforts and would love to have had you kill me in a game so I could watch you play. 😃

The stat watching is for my personal benefit, demonstrating to myself that I am improving, thats all, not to boast and believe me that I am having fun in.what I am doing.

I do not/cannot see exploits etc so I choose to ignore that they exist and take it as a level playing field. I understand that you have been there and done that and it is too demanding to do it over again and again. But as you were a predator, you have essentially won the game so I can understand why you look at it the way you do.

I am not part of a team and have done my ranked all with randoms or solo, up to diamond in the first season, but it is far too demanding to try and repeat  so just to gold for fun now.

@OldTreeCreeper I guess i viewed ranked as a personal achievement like you do getting better and increasing your stats. Wanting that next level up to know if i could or not as i found climbing diamond a long and gruelling process unlike some of these pro teams that did it in like 48hrs but feel i have grown a bit since then although while it's still in this placement priority meta i won't be touching it till something drastic changes anyway.

You're always welcome to join up for a few chilled matches if you're on PC or when we get crossplay. 👍

@apostolateofDOOM Thank you, I would love that, having a predator bodyguard 😃 I'm on xbox so I'll have to wait.

Platinum was literally murder to get through to Diamond for me and I ended up doing a lot of it as solo runs with some serious creeping both during and at the end of matches to scrape the placement points, as most of my random teammates seemed to be on suicide missions and I was just hemorrhaging points with them.
