Re: Ok i changed my mind: Wing needs a slight nerf lol

@matzesingtIt isn't a high skill gun now and here is why: Top level players that care about max rank and ALGS use the meta guns which are the easiest to use relative to damage. All of them using wingman means this is the gun they find easiest to use to inflict bigger damage. ALGS players using it over the r301 speaks to this.

As kel said maybe the issue really is that all other guns have been lowered to less useful.

35 dmg per shot, slightly slower rate of fire.

  • @hayhor Actually a wrong assumption, they play the best weapons and not the easiest.

I really hope you dont mean that r301 is harder to play than wingman lol

@RevMainPls No I didn't say that at all. I'll repeat this again. The wingman inflicts bigger damage relative to ease of use compared to the 301.

Watching hours and hours of algs this weekend I was laughing. It used to be teams would run snipers to wear teams down and level their evo shields. But guess what- They all ran wingman this weekend because they do 80 something damage at 200 meters and fire much master with bigger mags and when close you get that strafe. Why carry a sniper anymore at all is my new motto.
  • @Cro_PitttNah you cant, you lose close range vs shotguns... mid range there is no benefit using it over the r301, r301 is just much safer to use. Ive seen even people like aceu miss 7 wingmanshots in a row midrange.
The risk vs reward would simply not be worth it

What makes the wingman good is the longrange capability mixed with versitility especially compared to snipers and beeing able to farm shield easy
