Yes they all do. It's the only gun anybody uses. It's got the highest pick in the game.

1v1 an equally skilled player in the firing range, then say it's not better. The movement gives it the advantage. Statistically, the R301 is better at range. Not in practice

@deezuglynutz  1v1 equal skill R99 vs Volt or Mastiff, R99 is always going to lose, As @apostolateofDOOM said, it's not a must-have weapon anymore.

R99 is fine, and no its not better than R301.

Saying it has no recoil its just a lie. Just a bit of range, and recoils kick hard, and you will miss most of your shots. We can always try this out at the FR, you on for it?

@deezuglynutzVolt has a higher DPS. two solid shots from a mastiff with a purple bolt will take down a 99 player first.

To say it has no recoil, are you joking? The vast majority of players can't control the recoil and thus opt for the 301 or other guns that either easier to control, have bigger magazines and slower fire rates or something.

Top tier lobbies I run into the Mastiff more than the 99.

Volt is fairly common but has a lower pick rate simply because ammo can be hard to find. 

@apostolateofDOOM @This is why, fundamentally, all Battle Royal games are bull.  They randomize loot so sometimes you wreck face and sometimes you get nothing. It lets bad players win sometimes so they keep coming back to play. Sort of like the gambler’s fallacy.

The problems really, said ad nauseum, is the game isn’t so fun when you lose.  Winning is always more fun, but games thrive because when you lose you keep coming back to try again.

Random loot tries to fix this too with everyone getting sometimes wins, but if you are spending more time loading this game than playing it, something else is wrong.  And that’s a lot of Apex right now.
